LaShawn D. Riggans Joins NG&N Tallahassee Office

The firm is pleased to announce that LaShawn D. Riggans has joined the firm as Of-Counsel in the Tallahassee office. Ms. Riggans will concentrate her practice in the area of General Governmental and Litigation and Appellate Law.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Riggans served as a Deputy County Attorney in the Leon County Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Riggans is a highly qualified, skilled, and dedicated attorney who possesses a proven record of providing exceptional legal services. Ms. Riggans has an extensive background in local government law, administrative law, civil and criminal law, and labor and employment law. Ms. Riggans possesses strong skills in contract law, procurement, risk management, ordinance drafting, public records law, Sunshine law, and ethics. Ms. Riggans has proven ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve prime objectives, the ability to build effective relationships and is committed to creating an atmosphere that encourages mutual respect and the collaboration of diverse ideas.

Ms. Riggans earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2006 and her B.A. and M.P.A. from Kennesaw State University in 1999 and 2002, respectively.
